Golden birthday occurs when a person turns the age of their birthday (e.g. when someone who is born on May 31st turns 31).
We celebrated a golden birthday for one of our very own! We had a great time putting the cocktail party together. The venue was a modern event space in Georgetown, DC called T Square Loft. The look and feel of the venue really completed all the elements we were looking for.
The main colors of the space is white with some black accents; this made it easy for us to work with almost any color of our choice. We chose to work with gold and mint green.

we provided props for the guests to use with our “gold” backdrop
we absolutely loved the gold backdrop
as an alternative to the traditional guestbook, we provided stones for guests to sign
as favors, Wollywood cupcakes made cupcakes in a jar. guests took them home at the end of the night
