Happy New Year! We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday. Now, back to REALITY = Work! 🙂
A ton of brides/couples find it somewhat tasking to select colors they would like to use for their weddings while some others already know their colors way before they get engaged. We have a few tips on choosing the “perfect” wedding colors.
There are a few factors to consider when deciding what your colors should be:
– does the venue have strong colors? You might what to consider this so the colors you choose do not clash with the venue carpet, drapery or decor.
– is your mind set on a particular “flower” you would like to use? Some flowers only come in certain colors or typically look nice in certain colors. However, if you have been stuck on this flower for years, you can find a way to incorporate it.
– during what season will you be getting married – fall, winter, spring or summer? During spring and summer pastels and bright colors are usually the norm. In the fall, harvest colors are typically used such as orange, red etc. Finally, in the winter, most people use colors like burgundy, deep purple etc. You do not have to stick to the colors of the season, however attempt to make the colors complement the season.
– bridesmaids dresses? you might want to consider how your bridemaids will look in their dresses, so choose WISELY!
