Day 4 was a day long trip to the island of Santorini, referred to by many as one of the most beautiful places on earth. It is also known as the home of one of the most spectacular landscapes in the world. A sea jet transported everyone to Santorini which arrived on the island at about 9am. The journey took about 3 hours.
There was a bus tour afterwhich everyone walked around, shopped and admired the beautiful island. During lunch, guests had a traditional greek meal. Pastor Ghandi and his guests visited a number of places in Santorini including the Cathedral and a Castle that served as a refuge for individuals hiding from pirates.
One interesting fact we learnt – Santorini has more wine than water, more sheep than human beings and more churches than homes.
